The Town receives federal funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for projects and programs that benefit low and moderate income persons by providing affordable housing, economic opportunities and a suitable living environment.

CDBG 5-Year CONSOLIDATED PLAN

The Town of Barnstable is currently in the process of finalizing its CDBG 5-Year Consolidated Plan (ConPlan) for FY26-FY30. Once the plan is finalized, the Town will release a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) to organizations seeking to obtain CDBG funds for projects that are consistent with the Town’s ConPlan.

A public meeting will be held Tuesday January 13th at 5:00 PM in person at the Barnstable Town Hall 367 Main Street Hyannis within the Hearing Room located on the 2nd floor. Comments presented at the meeting will be taken into consideration as the ConPlan is completed.
